A friend of mine wants to spend 350 Euros for a 1/18th scale F1 model. I say. Keep your money. Try the paper, but... I can't find a paper model of F. Alonso's Minardi F1 2001 Any suggestion? even pay models are welcome.

Thank you, guys.
I was expecting a link to a shop or anything for sale online. Because I am sure there is no such Minardi for free.
Well... Let's get started. Blueprint, photos... Let's go!

I suppose the only condtion is that it's 1:18? So it'll need lots of detail! Maybe even a driver.

If I believe that thread, that Minardi PS01 and the Williams FW23 are very similar. www.forocoches.com/foro/showthread.php?t=1506393 Good news. I have a giant blueprint of the FW23... A driver? Hey, why not? But, first a shape. Then a texture, and only then a driver. Any link to a rFactor (or other game) skin of that Minardi? Thanks in advance. I will post the WIP here.

Follow the WIP and the photos on my website (only titles here) teamaoc.webs.com/ and especially teamaoc.webs.com/wipminardips01.htm (Hope it can give others the desire to build and create) Step 1. Find the blueprint Step2. Cut, crop and save the side and top views. Step 3. Input the views into Metasequoia.

You can still go into it's files and get the textures. They are standard image files (bmp i think) so no messing around with DDS.

I have a fine texture of that Minardi. Let's see if it still looks good on such a big model!
Step 4: Start the shape. See function 'Primitive'. Move, scale, segment and create. Step 5. Adjust the shape to the blueprint. Step 6. Because it's late already, I change my mind and focus on one wheel. Start with 'Primitive' cylinder, move, scale, segment... Step 7. Create another layer for the threads. Round up the sides of the tyres. Step 8. Add some textures. Step 9. Started very late tonight. So I focus on Front Wing. Start with a 'Primitive' box, move, scale, segment, cut with the knife, select + mirror...

Step 11: Front wheels: copy and paste the rear wheels, narrow them by deleting a thread. Step 12: Rear wing: starting with a primitive box, rect, move, rect, move... add texture. Clone that wing, invert all faces, 'attach current material (black) tu current faces'... Step 13: Front and Rear Suspensions: Start with a primitive box, rect, move, rect, move... delete some faces... mirror... add textures.
