Well, the Prototyp website has not been updated in a long time and you can't even order their models anymore much less download the free ones.
Does anyone either have copies of the free downloads or can direct me where to go to get the purchaseable ones?
I tried the email address at the site and have not gotten a reply.
Thanks, Grymm

There were never ANY free models on prototyp.org
Ryan has been involved with a move, and I have not seen or talked to him about the status of his site

Hmmm. I thought I saw a reference to a free download on there.
The site looks like it's been inactive for quite a while. It's a shame really. The models are very nice. I was kind of looking forward to trying one out.
Any timetable on when it will be back up for ordering?

Talked with Ryan after you posted this, and he is planning on re-opening sometime in october
and he confirmed that he has never had a free model on the site.

being in development, and having released one, are two completely different things.
Ryan has not released a free model on prototyp.org

Ryan Hicks has done his move and seems to be settled in a new home. Now he has found the time to do some updating on his site at: prototyp.org/index.htmlLooking forward to some new models...

Yep, I was at his site the other day and noticed he was up and running. By far, my favorite paper models are Lemans/SuperGT racecars. He does beautiful work. But, I wish he had some sort of "free" download so I could see if I wanted to pay the prices he's asking for. I don't mind it, I just wanted to make sure it was worth it. It's just the way I am.
On the subject, does anyone know of any other sites that have the more detailed Lemans/SuperGT Cars? I already know about and have built the black/red Nissan and the Epson site is just incredible. Beautiful stuff. I've also been building the various rally cars like the Subaru's, which is another downright cool site.
Any others out there? I'd love a good McClaren SLK, or even a detailed 1:24 GT Corvette or GT Cadillac. (I sell Chevy and Cadillac for a living)

Hi all. I do not like to revive this topic that is so old but someone could tell me if there is any way to buy the models of the site prototyp? I have already sent several emails to the address listed on the website but there was no answer. They're very beautiful models and I would like to have them on my shelf. Thanks.
