OK would be great if you could make these parts aswell. BTW I ve managed to extract some textures that may be useful in the final part of preparing this model: www.megaupload.com/?d=I2SUGZKNRgrds H

yup this is what I meant, the only thing is that probably there should be more of them - as you can on the image they are ending almost at the hight of steering wheel... sorry for being so scroutinous ;D so i guess that you are going to prepare your own painting of this model as my textures are useless? n ah i dont mind about you being "scruitnous". ill fix them next time i have some spare time. oh, and your textures arnet uselless, but it would be impossible to incorperated them ont the mdoel, now that the file format and model mesh have both changed. if i had a 3d modeler that could open the file staright from the game, then the textures would have been mega usefull. but sadly, no such 3d modeler exits

yep, i agree that it cant be done this way but i was thinking about something else... i would rather do all unfolding , and then having all the parts clear, put on them in photoshop parts of the textures that i extracted. obviously it wont be easy, mainly because textures/parts of them will have to be extended or diminished to fit exactly to the plain parts and corrected in some places, but it will be still much easier than making the whole livery from the beginning... hope you understand what i mean ;D

well, in that case, just importing the textures into sketchup, and use the fill tool to paste the textures onto the model. thats how it did it witht the other cars i made. the problem is, its not very easy and it takes a while, but i seems easier that dooing your methiod, seeing as ive had practice at my method. im not saying that your mthod is no good, its just it would take longer seeing as ive never done it before. i think that once iavput the textures on the model, illl make to models, one with the textures, and the one i have now as a "helmofon edition". how does that sound?
