Hey folks, just put some pics of my latest scratch build on the gallery. I didn't spend much time on it,(three days) I thought a little humor was in order sponsorship-wise in light of Nascar relaxing the alcohol ads. The nose is a little long, but I liked the more swoopy look so left it as is. I indented the drivers window, and added a seperate roof brace bar and safety net. also added front roof cam, sattelite antenna. and rubber duck antenna. note in the rear shot, the fuel overflow pipe at the left taillight. Hope you like it!

What did you use to make the paint? It looks colour pencil. What's the scale?

Robert, I used plain old Sharpie markers, prismacolor pencils for some window detail, and any line detail with Micron fine point pens. The whole thing was just to see how it looked as opposed to computer graphics. Iam a motorsports artist by trade, so I wanted art, not just precision. It's approx. 1/20th scale. I hope I didn't insult anyone with my scratch build. Just enjoying the hobby of paper modelling. It's also ONLY the fourth car in paper I have rendered. Hope to do many more! Next up; Richard Petty Charger! If anyone has more questions about my car, feel free to ask. I'm not quite proficient enough on the computer to attempt metaseqoia or other programs. Thanks for the inquiry! - Jeff

Jeff, when I show paper models to some friends that use to build plastic I always say that it's another kind of modeling. Not better, not worst, just different. And it can be as beaultifull as well! So, your Monte Carlo is really beaultifull too. But now I waiting for the charger!!! Will you make the superbird?

I've got a few client projects to complete this week before I jump on the charger, they don't take me too long once I get started. In reply to your question about the superbird; Of course I will!!! I've been experimenting with it already anyway. When complete I will post picks. Thanks for the compliments, I really like modelling in paper more than I do in styrene. I have a sports/prototype to put in the gallery. It's not a specific car, just mine, with my "hothed graphix" logos on it. Keep cuttin' on that paper!!!-Jeff

Sorry folks, for some reason, my photo host, imageshack won't come up anymore! my computer keeps saying it can't find the server. When I go directly to imageshack.com, it won't recognize my password or give me the option of going to my images. Can't pull up the monte carlo on the model photo gallery page anymore. I just joined photobucket, and as soon as I figure out how to transfer images from there, I will send some of the latest build.
