Hey Cornell, nice job at assembling this stuff and sharing it over the net. I haven't attempted to model one of these things yet myself, but understand the concept and think it's genius really. I just need to pick up another Xacto-blade and I think I'm going to give it a shot. What I'd like to do is start using my own texture work for these things. Right now I'm busy painting 90's era cars for nr2003 and haven't looked into how you unfold these models in max yet, or whatever the process may be. Honestly since you have the process down I was thinking I could just share the texture work with your paper 'kit' if you're interested. I have textures for everything; tires, engines, window ducts, paints, etc. I'd love to see these sim paints modeled in paper outside of the box. Here's my site and an example of what I'm talking about. Just let me know. www.freewebs.com/simlinez/

You'll be glad to know that our 89-94 Lumina is almost done!! I'm making the final build test. But we will need some help in painting. We are needing the botom chassis texture in red for Dale's car and in black for the #4 Kodak. Do you think you could paint them?If so, I can send you the template. Yeah I probably could. Not so much a problem of painting than just transferring the textures. As for Dale's Lumina, I already have the main paint texture done if you want to use it. I coould send it to you in jpeg, or bmp, or whatever. For the red chassis, it might take a little extra effort, but I could probably just convert one of the white chassis textures I have over to red. I'm planning on painting the Kodak car here in a week or two also for the sim. Those tire textures would look good too. The only thing really missing that I'd like to add in would be a front/back window texture.

Hey, just one more comment -- you have got to be kidding me that the Lowes Chevy including interior detail like that is made totally from paper.
If so, I'm dying to build one. When I check the temps at the site linked though, all I recieve is the less detailed model. Is there a temp/instruction kit to assemble that high detail monte carlo at the beggining of the thread?
