Hi
I am ready to create some of those 2014 F1 cars (and 2013 as well)
Thanks in advance for posting blueprints and useful views.
Keep an eye here: teamaoc.webs.com/formula1.htm
And I will post my creations on your forum
Let's see how much we can do!
.../...
Yes.
Let's go step by step, ok ? no hurry.
First help me answer a few questions, so I can share my work and let you join the work as well, ok?

What is the 'average' size of these 2013 and 2014 Formula 1 ?
After resizing blueprints of Ferrari, Marussia and Williams, here are the standard sizes I found:
width = 1800mm (see rules)
length = 5000mm (4958mm seen on a drawing of Marussia. 5248 seen on a drawing of a Renault with perspective. rounded to 5000mm.)
height = 1050mm (with or without video camera? without is 1041mm on a drawing of Ferrari, 1058 on a drawing of Mercedes )
So template is at: 5000x1800x1050mm, ok? Any questions? remarks? suggestions?
So ladies and gentlemen, start your Metasequoia.
And please specify what is your favorite scale? 1/12th? 1/30th? 1/24th? 1/43rd?
My favorite scale is 1/64th or 3inches or also 7.5cm.
Any blueprints (not photos with perspectives) are welcome!

I downloaded a model from the forum for measurement: a Force India 2013.
(I was surprised the name of the designer was not mentioned.)
The chassis is 5 cm wide. to compare with 140 cm in scale 1.
The diameter of the wheels is 2 cm. to compare with 62cm in scale 1.
The seat is 1.5 cm wide. can not compare with scale 1
The rear wing is 4.4 cm wide. to compare with 75 cm in scale 1.
So I conclude the scale is 1:30. Wow, that's big size.
If the total length in scale 1 is 500cm, then the 1:30 model is 16.6cm long.
Let's set up the size of the Metasequoia model at 1500x540x320 units.
It's a reasonable size on screen. The details are fine. And my computer can run it smoothly.
That's all for today. Please find the attached mqo file ready for download:
'mqo f1 2014 20140318'
This is a draft of a car mixing measurements from 2013 and 2014.
Ok, I see your favorite scale is 1:24th. No problem.

I will post my updates here but my files in another forum.
Follow the links. No need to register AFAIK:
