Hi, I made the model.. in white. I have posted the pics of this great model on this forum. the link to my post is: rpmodels.proboards46.com/index.cgi?board=mg&action=display&thread=1174764565It was very difficult to make this although xsjado made it look easy... If anyone has any questions about making the model.. feel free to ask. The user celicagts i think wus having problems making the model... any luck yet?? See if the part is supposed to be placed in the way ur placing or not.. instructions are a little difficult to follow and probably if i make onece more this amazing model.. i'll give out better instructions with more pics (if xsjado has no problems with me making another assembly tutorial). Also first keep the part in place where it has to be glued before applying glue and gluing it.. i actually skrewed up the body part the first time at the front bumper... so be careful.. B.T.W: The person who made the parts for the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640... have you made any progress and are you going to post the parts.. would love to make the LP640 version..

Let's be polite everyone, ok? he talked just "to talk". it made no sense to what i said.. i don't like this kind of people.. and especially the word "lol", in some cases i think is't a little close tot make fun of someone, and i don't understand why he put it there.. in conclusion, what he said made no sense to what i asked, and if someone doesn't know something, he should just shut up than talk nonsence... catalin

Well, I was finally able to download this fine kit, in both scales. I must say that I'm impressed. I've built and painted models of varying mediums for the last 30 years and to see someone create something like the Murcielago is impressive.
Out of respect for the designer I wanted to ask if it was okay to make some "modifications". I do graphic design and marketing for a living and I'd love to experiment with some graphics on this kit, since the scale is perfect for it. What I intend is to create a series of the kit with different graphics, wheels, and spoilers. I would work up a body kit for the model, but the model itself is so perfect already.
For the graphics, I've already collected various vehicle graphics that have been modified for this scale. I've also worked up some two-tone paint jobs for the vehicle, though I loved the orange with black rally stripes. I have tribal designs ready to go too. I've even tested out some public domain Boris Vallejo pieces for hood and roof art with great success.
For the wheels I've downloaded actual vented brake rotors and calipers and modified them to fit the scale. They look incredible and add a lot of depth to the already beautiful wheels. I've also downloaded the actual Lambo wheels and fit them to scale. The look is stunning.
As for spoilers, Carbon Fiber anyone? I've got actual digital sheets of CF that turn any spoiler into a tuner car lover's dream. I can even create CF hood, roof, and trunk panels. You name it.
I'll post photos as soon as possible. Here in the U.S. it is a holiday weekend and I'm travelling out of town with my family. Perhaps I'll have some "test" wheels completed next week and get some photos up.
As I have indicated, I mean no disrespect to the designer. What you have created is a work of art. What I would like to do is thank you for posting this for free on the web the only way I possibly can....by using my humble talents to perhaps accentuate your work.
Would it be okay?
Grymm
