I have the game, can I help?

On the GTR evolution website, theres models but there corrupted.
Does this happen to you?

I have rFactor, GTR2 and all those games
AND I have the tools to edit them because I'm simracer and modder (betatester of the "well known" german group "GSMF")

I wonder why you have such problems, finding the tools, because they should be very easy to find in all those forums about the games like GTR2 etc.!
BUT many of the models are locked (all GTR2 content is locked) and so I would think the admins here should not support any discussion here about the illegal conversion of those models as they are when we take them from those locked games!

but only to name the tools/programs, so you can work on your own, have a look for:

Zmodeler 1/2, 3DSimed, the ISI-tools and of course plugins for 3DStudioMax! (except the ISI-tools and the plugins, all are NO free- or shareware!)

and even if I know several ways to get those models - and even have those models - I will not give any information about getting those because it's illegal and we all should respect the original authors works and don't wait until they tell you to stop that!

sry for that I realy would like to see and have those GTs like Ferrari and such, but not this way!

Ok, I can work around the game and not mention GTR2. These are real official models of the 2003-2004 FIA GT. I am just working with GTR2 to help me with the shapes and paintjobs.

they are what? the licence of everything used in a product like a game is EXCLUSIVE for the purpose of the game - and nothing else!
so using the models for making paper models from them is illegal even if you would say this is a harmless thing, think of Mclaren who where against those models at all (even if they are free and bla) and so will be Ferrari and so on I believe!

using GTR2 as an reference and blueprint in some kind is when you don't use the models themselves no problem at all, this would be like using photographs etc.

only keep that in mind and everyone will have fun with the models and no one get trouble with the owners! so keep up work and keep clean

But what about those models that are like uploaded by users on forums (like for example nfs car models on nfscars.net) ?? Are those models also bound by the LICENSE of the GAME?? I hope not....

all cars which are not build by yourself are under licence of their owners/creators...
so if you want to use one model of these ask the author for permission

but there are also models in the internet which you can use free for everything...and they are signed as those "free models"

Ok, ive been really busy for the last week, sorry.

I will start posting the pics on ImageShack.

(I send a picture of the model on paper and Bridgette draws updates on it and sends it back.)
