Sorry, I forgot to give you a reaction...... I see no reason why the should noet. HLJ works worldwide. And the mailservice in your country is also not that bad... But you already did what I should have advised: give it a try.

Yeah, I'm building the R26 too, presentation version. I hope, I can finish next week. It's a so sweet little beautiful racing-machine ;D It has a very fine geometry, the todays F1 cars have a complicated geometry with lots of winglets, buckled surfaces and narrow sideboards, but all these things are solved very well in this model. Only the proportions do not seem to be correct, the R26 papermodel metmania.com/r26/r26.html is much shorter compared to the original one img.infocoches.com/img/renault/2006-R26-Formula-1-Car/renault_2006-R26-Formula-1-Car-002_2.jpgThe original one seem to be much longer. Maybe I can fix the problem with the next version of that car I'm going to make (with better colours), but this will take a while. And the tyres seem to be much to wide, I will try to make the a little bit more narrow. But although it's a very beautiful model, I love it, great work! I'm looking forward the F248 Ferrari ! A question to our Japanese friends here: Why do Japanese love "a cute look" and use wrong measures (and I new some other great japanese paper modelers sites, good stuff, but everything warped)? It's a pitty, because as a result of this no of the beautiful 70 year F1 models from metmania are interesting for me (and I'm a great fan of the 70ties Grand Prix era). I'm modeling to create a model as close to reality as possible. Maybe I'm to European to understand this, but Japanese have so many great and talented authors an only a few things are interesting for me at all, because so many models just look "cute", but not realistic. It's a pitty.

I too am near completion of the R26 rollout. I am having trouble resisting putting the red saftey/camera housing on this car.. I enlarged it to 150% and am very pleased with the detail, fit and the ability to capture the detailed complex shape you mentioned. For me the shortcoming is the method of marketing. This kit should be i a PDF with correct color and available to purchase on line. It is just too important a model to be printed in a magazine which is appears difficult to obtain and which did not do it justice in the color representation. That being said, I am going to give my finished model to a friend and start it again, I like it so much. I would be interested to know if those of you building did color corrrection. I changed the Renault blue using a photo similar the the one above to "capture" a lighter blue. I have seen builds on the internet with the dark blue of the rear wing truer to the original. I have not yet reached the tires but will consider what is said about size. Here is a link which gives dimensions of the R26 from which one can check scale www.f1technical.net/f1db/cars/899John

I love the complex curves of this car, especially around the intakes.
I'm curious, is there a free version of it available anywhere? I don't mean a scanned copy of this one but a different model all together of this car?
I don't have the means to order anything online so haven't tried to get the magazine with the model inside.
