I'm a retired US Navy CWO4 living in Spain. I have been paper modeling for a little over 2 years now and I started out with racing vehicles. Mostly cars of different classes and 1 Dakar Truck. I hope this post isn't too long for the forum.
My first model was YMjr's McLaren M8a:
I followed it with YMjr's Ferrari 312 P/B:
I jumped over to Metmania and built the Lotus 49 from that site:
I decided to get really into F1 and built the Williams FW26 and 26B from Metmania:
After finding Petr Spindler's site and the McLaren MP4/4, I had to build it. It was the winning car of the only F1 race I have seen live, Monaco 1988:
Back to Metmania with the McLaren MP4/8 (High Grade):
A couple more from YMjr. The Audi Pikes Peak and the Lancia Stratos Pirelli:
The last racing vehicle I built was the Vimos Publishing Tatra 815 4x4 Dakar. I went all out here with an interior from Spida, working doors and a self designed box interior:
For the last year or so I have built paper model planes, ships and tanks. I'm getting ready to go back to my vehicle roots with some F1 models (free and purchased). I haven't seen to many builds here, mostly designing. If it is acceptable, I will put the build processes in the appropriate section.
Thanks Igoraf, the tires are paper. My first advanced tires are on the Williams FW26, all the vehicle tires since then use the same basic principal that I found on this web page although I have some of my own mods: home.tiscali.nl/ponytail/Wheels-page02/FW26-Wheels.html Don't know if it is the same ponytail from here or not.

Here is my second model, the new trabi which i downloaded nine years ago on the not more existing www.newtrabi.com site www.pic-upload.de/view-31213911/DSCF7523.jpg.html more will come included the three cars from Mr. Bean, which were also free downloadable eight, nine years ago, first the orange 1969 Morris Mini MK II ,which was was destroyed in a crash at the end of the first episode and the lime yellow Mini with a black bonnet from the not more existing www.europeannetwork.de/mini_cooper_bean.pdf site and the light blue Reliant Regal Supervan III which will usually get tipped over, crashed into, bumped out of its parking space and so forth. This conflict originated in the first episode, when the three-wheeler held his Mini up on the way to a mathematics exam, and subsequently became a running joke throughout the series. these three cars are on my computer. .
