Today I saw an Espn show called: Ultimate Nascar - The Cars. Then I realized that we can make some of the most important cars of Nascar since it's beginning. From the Hudson Hornet to COT. First, I would like your opinion about this project. Then, we need to choose the cars to be built. Finaly, we need to form a developing team with modelers and painters. It will be an awesome job! The same way, our friends in Czech Republic an in Slovak make a brilliant job with F1 cars of all eras, we can portrait 5 decades of Nascar History with paper models.

Robert, First off - excellent site! I (im)patiently waited for the release of the chase pack and don't know how we can ever repay what you've got going.
Like one of the other posters, I have ZERO skill with paint programs or design. I would like to learn, but knowing what to get or where to start is... well,... it seems to be an insurmountable task at first glance. Any help in this area would be appreciated to point me in the right direction to get started.
As for the "project"... I'd love to see any of the classic Grand National cars. Without even trying I could name multiple cars, drivers, models I'd like to see. My Grand National/NASCAR watching started in the mid '70s, so from then till now is where my interest falls.
I will be more than happy to jump in with research/pictures when I return home (about 6 weeks), but right now my current obligations limit my research.
Let me know.

Here's my "want" list:
1. Mid-80's Chevy monte Carlo SS -- #33 Skoal Bandit. Go Harry Gant!!! This could easily be morphed into a late 80's Monte SS with the modification of the aerocoupe rear window... 2 cars for minimal work! Maybe a '89 Daytona winning Tide car...
2. Early 80's Buick Regal
3. Mid-70's AMC Matador!!!
4. Another combo car - a Mid-80's Buick Regal/Olds Cutlass. Possibly something like a Daytona winning Bobby Allison Miller car... and the Olds should be fairly easy with minor changes.
5. 1972 Dodge Charger -- Classic Richard Petty
6. 1969-70 Dodge Daytona/Plymouth Superbird -- Gotta love those wing cars!
7. 1969 Ford Talledega Torino - #17, David Pearson
8. Late 80's Pontiac Grand Prix. Might be tough to pull off with the nose design, maybe a '87 2+2 version would work better.
9. 1977 Chevy Monte Carlo - Classic Darrell Waltrip 'Big Bertha' #88 Gatorade car
10. Pontiac Ventura Late model - I found a picture of a Darrell Waltrip Gatorade late model car and remember seeing pictures of these cars way back... but back in those days they didn't really cover what eventually became the Busch series. They also have a picture of a late model AMC Javelin... maybe we can go with our top 11 pics... ;D

Wow Robert!!! Great list, those cars would look awesome!!! I don't have too much time to make my list, school takes too much time from me. Slowly I'm making a list, but, if these are the cars that will be made i won´t need one

I can't see your list Robert... ... they have sites like photobucket and such blocked. I'll check back and see what I can help with when I get home.

here is my some favourites: and amazing... This 21 car is awesome!! Look guys, I CAN model all the bodies, but I won't have time to map the textures. If there's anybody here who can do this job we can start this project right now because I have some models done.
