Althought "just" curbside it's not an easy model to make, but when completed correctly it's very good representing the original. Remember there are 2 versions on the site....

More detailed version looks better but still has unlucky designed chassis and wheels:(,this is my point of view.

Does anyone know where to find a detailed semi model to go along with the team trailer for this set? I would really like to have a streamlined conventional (aka Canepa or similar) like those that Steve (?) Ulstad offers, but I would like to have the same level of detail that the trailer and race cars have.

That was my initial thinking. Since they've done as much as they have so far, the semi is the next logical step. I figure that by the time I get all of the other items built, the tractor cab will be available. But, it sure would be nice to have everything together first (just my dumb little pet peeve).
Where did you see the sketches for the semi? What style of truck is it? I did a bit of Googling and I saw a picture of the real PIAA tractor-trailer unit. The tractor cab was more along the lines of a single-cab Mercedes (tall and not very deep). I'm hoping for more of a sleek, single or double sleeper Kenworth or Freightliner conventional.

I can't find the sketch anymore on the new version of the site.
keep in mind that the Team is located in Japan, and that a Kenny or Peterbilt would be VERY VERY VERY big on those streets.
and keep in mind, these kits are given away free, beggers can't be choosers.
I will be happy with any tractor unit

For those of you who like to do dioramas, on the usual site there are two competitor cars to the Epson NSX. The Takata Dome NSX and the ARTA NSX. both free www.i-love-epson.co.jp/nakajima/craft/ (in case you forgot) Rick
