hi everyone, first i want to say this,my camaro model still in process i didnt forget it. i think i improved my skills in modeling, and i tried to make a model from blueprints. my problem is: as you can see i tried to make smooth edges, i really liked the unfolded parts it seems good but, in model window, model looks corrupted. How can i fix it? thanks, Ege

But, first, try review your modeling in metasequoia, looking for uncorrect or "extra" faces/lines (duplicated faces) or open vertices. Second, I don't know what version of pepakura you're using, but try to unfold your work in the 2.12 version (the last one available, I think). Regards, Igor

I'm having a bit of trouble getting the scales right. I have made a Nissan Skyline (R-34) which have the wheels and spoiler in another file. While working on the model, i increased the size of one file. How do i match it to the second file?
Also, i want to know how to get the scale of a model to like 1:18 or 1:14. Thanks

hi daniyal, its a bad move to increase a part of the model. i cant give a certain solution but an advice. just copy the "body"(that you increased) in to "wheels/spoiler" file as a new object. then select only wheels and spoiler, increase them as you wish( open a photo of that car car and try to scale them with your eyes, spoiler and wheel scales are not so important at all.) For scaling to 1:18 , exlpore internet for r34 sizes find width lenght height. then divide 18. on pepakura go in to 2dpatternWindow/scaleupdown to specified value. then write there the height that you found before. there says "assebled size" .just check them. they must be nearly same with your values.

I don't know but maybe i'll be in luck. Both the files have each of the parts, its just that the wheels are hidden in the body file and the body is hidden in the wheels file. Thanks egen! Would you like to have a look at the files? It's not the best but i tried. Its a bit better than my Mazda RX8. I got the models from Sketchup so it was very hard trying to find out which meshes are needed as most models have around 500 meshes or so.
P.S. I'm not sure but do i find out the volume of the real car by multiplying the width by height by length, then divide the volume by 18 and then type in the answer in the assembled size? Or do i just find out the height of the car, divide it by 18 and type in the answer in the 'assembled size' box?
