Hey Robert,
Do you think this could be done?, like the driver figures from the Epson Race team?
not looking for a 3D figure, but a flat one is fine.

It can be a beautifull diorama, I mean, a portion of the pit lane with jack and fuel tanks... not difficult to make. I will look for pit crew templates (n2003) to make a test.

Rookie, do you know the pitlane of Epson Nakajima models? I was thinking in something like that. Or like this one: you mean the one shown in the epson papercraft index? www.epson.jp/nakajima/craft/index.htmright under the the red&white "papercraft" i have seen it. about the picture you gave in the post i couldnt understand what that 'cloth hanger' like thing was. i could try making the epson type pitstop should there be multiple stops in the lane or just one? one thing i cant make the drivers sorry only the pitlane Rookie ps i can send you the textured sketchup files when i am done (i havent purchased the pepakura password)

'cloth hanger' was funny!!! I could not find a diorama of a Nascar pit stall. This is a diorama of a dragster race and the 'cloth hanger' is the starting lights. You can see lots of real Nascar pits at: images.google.com.br/images?svnum=10&hl=pt-BR&gbv=2&q=Nascar+Pit+stopDont´worry about Pepakura, beacuse this kind of diorama will not need it. It´s simple drawing.

correct me if i am mistaken are these the only things in the pitstop? 1 car jack, 1 screwing tool with wire,4 spare tyres, 1 red colored fuel filling tank, a car and a few people? + a pitstop lane in model.(are the quantities correct?)
apart from this should there be the tent from where the managers are monitering the race and a pole with the race team's logo and spare fuel fillers and jacks and helmets(i saw some in the link you posted)?
should i make only one pitstop or multiple like an entire pitlane?
thanks Rookie

Rookie, the pictures you sent, looks more like a F1 style pilane. I don't remember to see this kind of "tent" in Nascar. Please, take a good look at Nascar pitstops pictures. Another tip is to take a look at some Nascar simulation like N2003 or NSR.
