it's good, but i think you'll experience some problems in pepakura , when you'll try unfolding. i think you have to many polygons in some areas.. as a graphic design, it's very well. if you want to understand what i mean with the polygons, try looking at cornell's aston martin, in construction progres.

Yes, you will have problems to unfold in pepakura, but there are ways: 1 - reduce the polygons in some areas as told catatm. Remember that this will be a paper model (or not?) and this material (paper - depending the scale of course) have some limitations to reproduce details. Your model have many squares with diagonals. Delete then and create other faces over it. This will reduce the number of faces; 2 - If you still have many faces, try to divide your model in pieces, and unfold them separately. Pay attention in pepakura, putting all parts at the same dimension (DevelopedViewWindow - Scale Development to Spcecified Size in menu toolbar). I did it many times, but I'm crazy: I print the parts in pdf format and them edit/paint them in Adobe Illutrator. Well, I hope these informations could help you. Regards, Igor

i didnt make all the model i found a model on net and i used its point and reduced detail.first i choosed front bumper.i tried to unfold it without changes.i found mistakes and i reduced polygons then i tried again. I did it for all parts(front, back ,sides, roof and hood) when i tried to unfold hood and roof they unfolded without mistakes, but as you can see, parts arent in same layer and they must unfold separately, here is a pic and at last, i cutted the model 2 halfs, i erased one, modified a half, and then, mirored it then joined points. Here are my tips: 1- Reduce the poligons a litlle more. It seems that the sides of the model are ok, but you still can reduce in the other parts. 2- Try to split the roof in three parts like I did in the nascars models. i didnt make all the model i found a model on net and i used its point and reduced detail.first i choosed front bumper.i tried to unfold it without changes.i found mistakes and i reduced polygons then i tried again. I did it for all parts(front, back ,sides, roof and hood) when i tried to unfold hood and roof they unfolded without mistakes, but as you can see, parts arent in same layer and they must unfold separately, here is a pic and at last, i cutted the model 2 halfs, i erased one, modified a half, and then, mirored it then joined points. today,i worked on pepakura and choosed lines, but i'm not sure about its buildig possiblety.i need your tips again, i divided the roof 3 parts, lowered details of front bumper, and again i didnt modify hood because pepakura unfold it as 1 part. But on paper hood may look bad(what can i do for hood?) I want to make a beta build but i have problems in pepakura,In development window lines are very thick,i want to work on corel draw, how can i copy development to corel(High quality, slim lines, high resolution) Ege

Hi egen. The hood seems good. The mudguard (sorry my poor english ) could be better: join each 2 points around in only one. In pepakura, that thin strip will disappear. I usually use the knife tool a lot, to produce more parts. When the development finish, I use the Join Surface tool to join these parts accurately. As I said before, I print the development in pdf format (I use the Adobe Acrobat 7 to do it, but you can use PrimoPdf software, it's a freeware) and then I edit and color the unfold model in Adobe Illustrator (like Corel Draw). See if your version of Corel Draw could open pdf files. If so, all your problems are solve ;D Regards, Igor

My edvice is: Dont unfoald completly body. Disjoin it patr to part (bumper, doors......) for example in Autocad. But in pepakura designer you ll must set same scale ( developedviewwindow -> scaledevelopment to specified size). Sorry for my English
