The cars and the design is Italian.
The engine and other parts are German(Audi).

The diablo wos the last one that wos built only by lamborgini.
the folling cars are built in coproduction with audi. for example the
10 cylinder engine and the all wheel drive are from germany and parts of the
thingypit.

yea.. Lamborghini's are built in co-production with Audi.. found that out 2 years ago on the show called Top-Gear. According to the host, since the collaboration of Audi n Lambo... Lambos have been tamed down and are much more based on looks. But the recent work, especially the concept cars, the Murcielago with its v12 really show the Italian heritage and the powerful and robust history of the brand.
