I'm NOT asking for links or anything to dodgy or improper sites.
I'm just wondering if anyone is contemplating making a model of the new AM LM1 Le Mans car.
NOT the DBR9, but the amazing 'flat' looking machine!!!
I'm currently completing the fantastic DBR9 model, and I have to say it's turning out really well. I've printed it all out on thick photo paper, and bonded the prints to 120gsm card as well! The parts are thick, and sturdy! I've also made wire formers that are glued inside the roof and certain areas of the body to keep the parts in correct shape. All cut edges have been painted body-colour and I've cut off ALL tabs on all the parts. I'm joining the pieces together with extra pieces of card inside so all my parts butt-join, and don't 'overlap'. Much nicer. The wheel parts were laser printed on chrome foil, so they look really good!
