I just read this in Popular Mechanics (June issue). The DeltaWing is a new race car design that will be entering Le Mans in June. It is actually designed to compete as an Indycar (hence my confusion as to whether this thread should be in the F1/Open Wheels section). The car has a very narrow front but since 70% of the weight is in the rear, the car handles the corners well. It is a pretty cool design. Some more info is here:
